Privacy Policy

Because Apparently This is Required

Honestly, who even reads these things?

First of all, yes, this is the Privacy Policy for RudeYogi.com. If you’re still reading, then you’ve decided to brave the fine print. Good for you. This little document, which I’m sure you’ll skim over anyway, should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions—which, spoiler alert, are probably equally tedious.

Now, if you insist on using this site, that means you automatically agree to the Terms and Conditions and to this Privacy Policy. Yes, that means we’re collecting your info as described below. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Alright, here’s the deal. Rude Yogi owns whatever information you voluntarily throw at us. We’re talking your name, address, phone, and billing details—basically, anything you decide to surrender when you fill out a contact form or email us. If you’re dropping personal details here, just know that we won’t sell or rent them out. This isn’t some underground data market, after all.

The point of collecting your info? Well, we use it to respond to your ramblings, answer questions, send you whatever drivel you’re apparently interested in, or just to remind you that you asked for updates. As for third parties? No worries, they’re not getting a piece of your pie. Unless, of course, you specifically ask for it, then maybe.

And if you’re bold enough to comment on a blog post?  It’s public. Don’t expect any confidentiality for that.

Security

probably complain if we didn’t. When you submit sensitive stuff on this site, we don’t just leave it lying around for anyone to see. Your information is protected both online and offline. Shocking, right?

Now, whenever we gather your precious details, we encrypt that information and transmit it securely. Yep, we wrap it up like a burrito in digital armor. So, no need to clutch your pearls. And offline? Only the employees who absolutely need your info get to see it. That means anyone not specifically involved in handling your stuff is kept out of the loop.

And, as for where we keep it? Our computers and servers live in a “secure environment” which, in plain English, means behind enough firewalls to make a dragon jealous. So, rest assured, your data is as safe as it needs to be.

Technical Data and Cookies: Because Spying is Fun

So, you visit the Rude Yogi site, and guess what? We know. We track basic stuff like when you showed up, what you clicked on, and your browser’s name. Oh, and we also note if you crawled over here from another website. Don’t worry, it’s just boring technical data—nothing that points directly to you, unless you’re under the illusion that you’re a unique little snowflake.

We also use cookies. And no, they’re not chocolate chip. These little guys just help us see how much time you’re wasting here. We don’t share or sell cookie data, because honestly, it’s as riveting as watching paint dry.

Opting Out (But, Like, Why Would You?)

If you’re somehow bothered by this policy or want to ghost us, fine. Just email info@rudeyogi.com. We’ll honor your request, but no promises we’ll do so cheerfully.

Policy Changes: Because Change is the Only Constant

Rude Yogi reserves the right to change this policy whenever the mood strikes. If we do, we’ll slap the updates on this page so you can pretend to care. Stay vigilant, or don’t. It’s your call.

The Rude Yogi’s lawyer isn’t crazy about this wording, so here is some standard language that you apparently need to see:

This is the Privacy Policy applicable to the use of our website (“site”).  This should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.

You should read this entire Privacy Policy to fully understand what information is gathered by us and how that information will be used. By using this site, you agree to our Terms and Conditions; you also agree to the collection and use of your information as described below.

Any information you submit to us via e-mail, our Contact Us form, or otherwise, will be treated as the disclosure of public non-confidential information. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use the information you provide for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or request, preparing a retainer agreement for you, providing you with information related to our services; advising you of legal updates and other information; and where we have other legitimate reasons for doing so (to the extent permitted by applicable law). We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill a direct request from you.

You understand that should you choose to comment on any blog post on this site, your comment will not be confidential and will not be subject to the attorney-client privilege.

The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

In the event that we change this Privacy Policy, we will publish the revisions on this site so that you remain aware of what information we gather, its utilization, and the circumstances surrounding its potential disclosure.
